HitchDoc's chrome plating is "show chrome" which means that the part is first polished, nickel plated and finally chrome plated. This process, while expensive, gives a lasting beauty.
All HitchDoc trailer hitches are "bolt on". You are never required to file, bend or hammer to make the parts fit.
HITCHDOC designers study each motorcycle model individually to create a trailer hitch that fits that specific motorcycle. Most hitches quite often fit just one bike. Every effort is made to make products that are the best, and the best looking, available on the market.

Domestic Shipping:
There is a US Customs Brokerage charge of $35.00 for United States orders exceeding $200.00
If while your order is in backordered status you find it in stock from another dealer, you can cancel your order without penalty, as long as the item is not in transit. Most times all dealers will be in the same position since backorders are on a national scale.
Refunds and Returns
All returns must be accompanied with an RMA number and the original invoice. Please call 800 573-0802 within 3 days of receiving your order and explain why you want to return the item and an RMA will be assigned to you.
Shipping the item back to the manufacturer is the responsibility of the customer and must be sent freight prepaid to the address given.
No returns or exchanges will be accepted unless they are unused and in their original packaging. If a product is shrink wrapped and it has been opened it is not returnable. Please inspect all chrome plated products very carefully before installing on your bike. Any chrome plated products that have been installed are not returnable. No exceptions! Installing these products often leaves marks from the fasteners and are not resaleable.
All returns of undamaged goods will incur a 40% restocking fee if shipped back within 15 days. 15 days is calculated from the day the product shipped to you till the day it is received back. Shipping charges will also be deducted for orders that shipped free. All products returned must arrive in perfect condition and sellable to be eligible for refund or exchange. Otherwise it will be refused and shipped back to the consumer at their expense.
In cases where the manufacturer sends the wrong part, we will cover freight charges to send the part back and ship the correct part to you at no charge.
In cases where the consumer orders the wrong part, it is the responsibility of the consumer to ship the part back and to pay shipping for the correct part.
Under no circumstances are special order items returnable.
No Returns accepted after 15 days.
No returns on electrical components of any kind. There are no exceptions to this policy. This is including but not limited to all lights.
Please be sure you want to purchase a product before you place your order. Orders are processed rapidly to provide customers with the fastest service possible. Items that are not part of our regular inventory are sometimes ordered minutes after we receive your confirmation. When we commit to the product with our supplier it is usually impossible to stop the order.
Cancellations
You can cancel a part that is part of our regular inventory with no penalty as long as it hasn't shipped. If we commit to the product with one of our suppliers and you cancel, there is a 25% restocking fee. This applies whether the product has shipped or not. All shipping charges incurred will also be deducted from your refund.
This policy is not to make money on you in any way. These are industry standard charges that we pay our suppliers if we return a product.
In order to cancel an order you must call 800 573-0802, send an email or leave a voice mail and request your order to be cancelled. Emails sometimes get lost and so do voice messages. Your order is not officially cancelled until you receive an email from us stating a status change to cancelled. If your order ships before we cancel your order, you are responsible for any restocking fees and shipping charges.
Warranties
Any warranties on the products sold by us, hereby are those made by the manufacturer, none other.
Customer must engage the manufacturer for any warranty issues. We will assist the customer when possible.
